What this site is for

Aviation Reference helps enthusiasts, plane spotters, pilots, students, and curious travelers understand the aircraft they see and the airlines that flew them. The goal is simple: make reliable aviation facts easy to search, read, and connect.

This first version deliberately starts small: ten aircraft, five airline histories, one identification quiz, and one comparison tool.

How the information is built

Aircraft and airline facts are stored as structured records so every detail page, search result, quiz question, and comparison draws from the same information. Concise original summaries are checked against manufacturer, military, museum, airline, and established historical sources listed on each page.

The connection to Airspeed Junkie

Aviation Reference was created by the aviation team behind Airspeed Junkie, but it has an independent editorial purpose. It is not a store or a disguised advertising directory.
